After the 1999 Beni Ellere Verdin Album, concerts, earthquake, economic crisis, my USA-New York University Cinema education, and the Father-Son Tour, I realized that it had been 3.5 years since I made an album.

He immediately said, “Is there a girl for you, Sir?! -I went to the studio for “Valentine’s Day”. We recorded two different versions, Acoustic and Rock. The rock version was so pumping up that we called it the “gas version”; )

Let me tell you a little bit about the song:
The song is about a talented friend of ours who manages to be alone in a city with a population of 10 million on Valentine’s Day! He is already aware of the situation, “Good luck to me, I broke a record, I managed to be alone in a city of 10 million people / on Valentine’s Day!”☺

There is also a sentence in the song from the voice of Hıncal Uluç, who gives me strength with his articles about my music from time to time, and whose sympathy and intelligence I admire, which gave the song its name: “Is there a girl for you, my teacher ?!?”

For this recording, Radyo Klas – Yavuz came to my rescue (Yavuz came with☺ his minibus and made a wonderful imitation of Hıncal Uluç. Condolences!

I believe that “Valentine’s Day” will become one of the most popular songs not only of 2003 but of all time. Of course☺, next to other Murat Evgin compositions

By the way, another detail about the song: about a year ago, I personally listened to the demo recording of the song to the general managers of the big music companies of our country (you know, aren’t☺ there those people with an English name or initials, but as Sezen Aksu said, “Neither a sound nor a news…” Friends are still thinking, I guess…

While they were thinking, I said, “It’s down!” and decided to release the single myself, believing in the excitement, support and friendship of my friends and fans in the media, again alone, without a strong company behind me, (and therefore without corporate-monetary relations), as in the case of the album You Gave Me to the Hands. (It’s scheduled to come out in January.)
